Who can join?
This short course is ideal for adults who have some prior exposure to French or who have completed the French for Beginners 1 & 2 courses and are now looking to focus on speaking and expanding their vocabulary.

Students enrolling in this course should have a good command of the present tense and at least a basic understanding of the past tense (passé composé).
​

The course is designed to get students speaking French, with minimal focus on grammar. Each session is divided into four parts:

Begin with a conversation in the past tense, sharing with the other students what you recently did

Use the present tense to describe one or two pictures
-
Respond to a “For or Against?” question, justifying your opinion
-
Conclude with a conversation talking about upcoming plans
No homework will be assigned between lessons.
