OUR STORY

One day Lucie thought: why not encourage Melburnians to learn and practise the French language with native French tutors? So, in February 2013, The French Workshop was born!

Today, The French Workshop allows everyone, no matter their age or level, to learn and practise French with fun and experienced native French tutors anywhere in Melbourne. Learn and practise French with your friends, your partner, your family or have a French tutor just to yourself.

Our French tutors are flexible with their time and happy to meet you where it suits you best in the city of Melbourne or in its inner suburbs like Brunswick, Carlton, Kew, North Melbourne, Richmond, Parkville, Southbank, South Yarra, Toorak, Williamstown.... You can have your private French lessons in the comfort of your home, conveniently at your workplace, in a café or a public library. Online lessons are also available.

At The French Workshop, we believe in high quality, tailored French lessons where you can really get the chance to speak the authentically French spoken in France today and feel at ease asking any questions you may have.

Group French classes for adults are also available and are only for small groups so you can make the most of each lesson. The group classes are held in public local libraries and community centres in several locations like Melbourne CBD, Williamstown. East Melbourne, Southbank and Richmond. Check out here for our next courses available.

In 2018, The French Workshop was proud to be one of The Association of French Teachers in Victoria sponsors during "Concours Lycéens 2018", an event opens to students from Year 11-12 learning French in Victoria.
